strap lock for accoustic guitar

does anyone know if anyone sells strap locks for accoustic guitars?
the ones i've found so far are really made for electrics and require you to drill out your accoustic in order to fit. hell will freeze before that happens. I have an epiphone jumbo accoustic (ej-200)

So that there's a string tied around the headstock?

D'Addario makes one like that.

I've seen a few, but none really "lock" like the ones for electrics.

You could try this. The description says that it is designed not to come loose (I think this is what XNASA is talking about):

on the BOTTOM - dead center ... there is a heel plate under the skin that will support a strap post ... THIS one is absolutely necessary ...

One can also drill another attach where the neck joins the body: there should be a small triangular end where the neck tapers to the body .... that small patch will provide enough support for another strap post ... OR .....

You can simply tie off the strap to the headstock above the nut ...

YOu WILL have to drill at least the bottom post, if one doesnt already exist there ....

You can use an inspection mirror and a flashlight to look inside and to the bottom of the guitar to make sure you have the 'purchase' for good support in solid wood ...

Another alternative?: use a classical guitar strap: one that hooks into the soundhole .. it requires no drilling, but they are usually used for lighter nylon string classicals .... Im not sure if they are strong enough for JUMBO steel string strummin ....

THe EJ200 is pretty nice .... I presume it has a piezo pickup and preamp ? ...
How much ? ... Ive seen them for 279.99 WITHOUT the pickup ...

I REALLY want a Gibson jumbo ... really .... I do ...

and replace their screws with the ones already in your guitar.

This is very simple and no big deal at all.
We have done this a hundred times.
Find a good luthier and have it done.
Beware of that local music shop, however, -
danger awaits. Talk to the luthier before he drills.

Just do it.
