48 1/2 inch cat - Maine Coon Cat
My girl is Pepper a Maine Coon Cat who appears to be growing in the other direction.

In this photo taken July 1, 2009, Robin Henderson stretches out her Maine Coon cat Stewie outside of her home in Reno, Nev. Stewie, a five-year-old Maine Coon owned by Hendrickson and Erik Brandsness, has been accepted by Guinness World Records as the world's longest cat at 48.5 inches

1. That's a lot of cuteness.
My cats are more interested in increasing their diameter than their length.

4. My first cat was a Maine Coon.
I still miss that cat. :(

I would have nothing but MC's if I had the choice, but I only take in rescues, so I don't really choose them, they mostly choose me.

And besides that, MC's require a lot of serious daily grooming, and I just can't do it because my hands just don't work well anymore. So I only have short-hair animals. They are much, much easier to take care of.

MCs are the friendliest cats though. Ever! I really would recommend them to anyone who can handling the grooming. :)
