I need good vibes - my dream job is hiring!
A local feminist, progressive sex shop is looking for a part-time salesperson. It's perfect; it's on the weekend, and it's close to my school. I love this store and I've really wanted to work there for quite some time now. So, of course, I'm super excited that they're hiring!

I don't have actual retail experience, although I have plenty of experience in peer sex education, activism, volunteer work, and customer service. So, I'm hoping all the experience I do have counts in my favour!

I really, really hope I get this job. So send some good vibes into the universe for me, will you?

Thanks, DU!

:hi:

you remember, the 110cm one who visited T.O. last year. :loveya:

Come to think of it, she probably stopped into the shop while she was in town, assuming it has wheelchair access, of course.

3. It is wheelchair accessible!
I have to meet your friend one of these days! Come to think of it, she probably knows one of my friends, a radical sex/disability activist who lives in Toronto. :)

5. Nah, her name is Loree.
Does she know her?

(Hahaha, I can't believe I'm asking someone on a message board this.)

7. Well, I'll be a monkey's uncle
she does know her (or at least she does know a Loree who is at uni in T.O., has a disability, includes "genderqueers" among her likes, and is actually American). :wow:
