Nova Scotia. Heaven on earth. (pictures)
Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia.

The sky was clear

And then the storm rolled in

4. Thank you.
Nova Scotia and in particular, Peggy's Cove, is magical. I've been there twice and I hate to leave.

15. I've lived in Nova Scotia twice in my life and loved it. You are right it is magical. You can almost
see the 'pirates' when you drive down the coast.

24. I hope to return there to live some day .
I would also go back to Rita's Tea Room in hopes of catching Rita herself, sipping a hot brew.

I was there once and just missed her :(

3. Nice shots.
Peggy's Cove and a lot of the coast remind me of Maine.

to Canada. It is so gorgeously rugged and breathtaking.

9. I was in Lunenburg a number of years ago it's beautiful
We didn't have but a day to see Peggy's Cove as we were on a cruise and the excursion only did Halifax and Peggy's.

Next time, we've decided to fly into Halifax and rent a car. We'll go to Cape Breton Island and the Cabot Trail. It is just amazing there.

thanks for looking and for posting your photo.

17. In that shot you can't quite see the house my uncle grew up in. His father
was a ship's captain and ran rum to NYCity during prohibition.

28. Hey! That's where they filmed the series "Haven"!
That picture looked just like the fictional
town of "Haven"...

I just looked it up, and that's where it's filmed.

29. In one of the location shots, I made note of the street names so I could check it out on Google Maps
Sure enough, the businesses were right there, including the Subway (sad, but true) at the end of the street.

30. I have not heard of that series. I had to look it up
we don't have cable or satellite so the chances of seeing it are slim. It looks really good though. Thanks for the link.

grocery store there.

33. Chester has some great artists. Including a woman who handpaints bathroom sink basins. My
mom had one in our house. It was gorgeous. Chester is on the next Bay north of Mahone Bay.
