Most romantic song ever?
I submit "The Way You Look Tonight" by Fred Astaire. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hR4FwZeSyYs

And you? A poll is nearly inevitable.

38. If you were a HS senior in '65
at a dance, just about anything with a slow beat would be "the most romantic" while on the dance floor! My memory is a bit foggy but there were a lot of great ones in early '60s. I agree with the poster who mentioned doo-wop, very popular where I came from.

Not really a fan of his but this one has always stuck with me. Maybe because of the personal memories associated with it.

Confession: I had a major crush on Veronica Bennett, aka Ronnie Spector when I was 12, and by god, I still do.
Confession # 2: Crush on Bonnie too after I actually spent some time with her after a show in 1974 ,and just melted at how sweet , nice and GORGEOUS she was (and is).
