Couple celebrates 72nd anniversay with bacon bacon and bacon pizza.
That's how it's done.

So, Donald and Julia Cole’s 72nd anniversary may not seem special compared to the rest.

“Well, I changed the oil in the car,” said Donald Cole, when asked about his day.

“I did as little as possible,” said Julia Cole.

The Portland couple has shared an awful lot over seven decades of marriage. On Monday night, they shared a pizza: the Bacon, Bacon, Bacon pizza, which features Canadian bacon, crispy bacon and pepper bacon all in one.

1. Said Ole as he gazed across the table at Lena
"Seventy two years is enough, dammit! We're committing suicide by bacon."

2. Seems like the only thing that pizza is missing is bacon.
Mexican bacon, that is.

3. Is it just me, or is it odd that the story never mentions their ages?
I mean, first question I have when I read that a couple has been married for 72 years is, "Geez, how old were they when they got married?"

4. Why not have the bacon, bacon, Spam and bacon pizza, then?
That hasn't got that much bacon on it. :-)

9. Good for them.
Anyone who's lived that long, & been married that long, can eat whatever they want!
