I just totally love the look of a Bond Bug, a Corbin Sparrow, or a Nissan S Cargo

1. I give the reviewer a C+
He lost me right off the bat with the El Camino. He went on to bash every similar vehicle (the Brat:shrug:) except the worst of the bunch, the Ford Ranchero. When he whined about the lack of a grill on The Thing, I started to question his automotive savvy. Because I don't like leaves and dead birds in the trunk... He managed to pick most of the low hanging fruit, but I would not be embarrassed to be seen driving an Enzo. Oh no, indeed.

5. Oh yeah, The Chulos are going to have thing to say about that, Homie.
The El Camino needs to be taken off of that stupid list.

6. I notice they took the image of the VW Thing from Wikipedia.
Did the writer even bother to read the first paragraph?

The Volkswagen Type 181 "Kurierwagen", popularly known in the United Kingdom as the Trekker, in the United States as the Thing, and in Mexico as the Safari, was a small military vehicle produced by Volkswagen from 1969 to 1983, although civilian sales stopped in 1980. It was based in part on Volkswagen's Type 1 (Beetle), and was a continuation and improvement over the Kübelwagen, which had been used by the German military during World War II. The name Kübelwagen is an abbreviation of Kübelsitzwagen, meaning "bucket-seat car".

The other thing I've noticed about the "story" so far, is that he equates "strange" with "ugly". Well, if it's ugly to him, then bring on the strange! :D

7. Yeah, you have to wonder about the Thing pick...
It's got an AIRCOOLED engine in the BACK. Why in FUCK would this car have a grille?

I also like how he chose both the Mercury Sable and the Ford Taurus--which are almost exactly the same car.

And why, pray tell, isn't the Toyota Corolla on the list? The Corolla has the durability of an anvil, and almost the same aesthetics.

15. I used to drive one
It had a lot of get up and go.

Say what you will about that chopped read, but for a four-cylinder, the reduced weight was the bomb.

10. I've had my PT Cruiser for 9 years now.
I still love its sleek retro look.

There ARE some ugly cars in that article, but the Cruiser is not one of them.

12. This is a shitty survey - it should be "ugliest 500 cars".
Fifty ugly cars in 50 years? Sure, they're ugly, but that's only touching the surface of ugly in the last 50 years.

This is like saying "The top 100 worst Nazi Death Camp deaths of WWII".

17. I had to agree with a few of them...
The El Camino is classic, tho. In my high school years, the El Camino owners were usually party dudes, and their EC's were covered in primer and Bondo....
