1. It really is a bittersweet song, one I never would have heard of.
Thanks for posting it, although it made me cry a little. :-(

2. Made me choke up, too...
Check out the acoustic version at http://www.cosmojarvis.com/

And, Cosmo Jarvis is certainly easy on the eyes! Quite a talented 20 year old.

5. About the song...
Edited on Sat Nov-27-10 10:59 PM by targetpractice
"The single is certainly a love song, let’s get that straight, but it challenges the conventions that define what a love song is. This is a song written for a definite reason, and aside from being vintage Cosmo, it is focused on breaking down the homophobic residue that still remains today; hundreds of years after the glimpse of society he exposes in the song."

— from the artist's PR person

Also, Cosmo Jarvis wrote the lyrics, sang the song, recorded all instrumentals, directed the video, and painted the sets.

Yes... I admit... He is my new celebrity crush. ;-) Unfortunately for me, he is straight... He apparently is obsessed with Jessica Alba. :-P

I can only imagine a future time where straight men like Jarvis completely feel free to launch their career by writing and singing about gay love without hesitation. :-(
