What's The Most Consecutive Hours You've Ever Slept?
From the start of your sleep until you first wake up. Getting up and going back to sleep don't count.

I think it was 22 hours for me. I came home from working the college newspaper at around 8 a.m. and slept until around 6 a.m. the next day.

I know that probably pales in comparison to the lenghts some people here have slept, so what's your record?

2. Wow, that sure is a long time
14 hours is the most for me. I didn't sleep for 40 hours and went to bed at around 10 AM. I woke up around midnight and had pizza for dinner.

with the flu a couple years ago. Came home and went to bed after work on Friday night , about 7pm, went to sleep, woke up a couple times. Didn't really wake up or get up till Sunday morning. About 36 hours. Mrs Badger was witness.

5. I think mine was 22 hours also...
I woke up...stumbled into an Italian bistro right below the apartment I was staying in, in Frankfurt, ate a pizza and went back to sleep for another 12 hours.

7. 18, but I had chemical assistance
A friend gave me one of her "headache pills" when I was having a killer gall stone attack about 11 years ago. I did feel better when I woke up.

8. 20 hours, but I was sick.
It was New Year's Eve of '95, and I had this real NASTY case of the flu, complete with hard chills. I went to bed that afternoon around 3, and woke up the next morning at 11. My mom kept checking on me, because she was sure I'd stopped breathing or something, because I didn't even wake up to go p**. :P
