Ordered the William Clarke book on Friday and I received it yesterday. Now, that's great service. Amazon.com :headbang:

1. Gotta disagree

I ordered a book as a gift for someone's birthday 3 weeks before the day it was supposed to arrive and it never did. No phone numbers for customer service available, so you have to deal with email. All the emails conspicuously come from people named "Rajiv" and "Priya", providing yet another example of Bush's new "international trade", as Amazon.com has apparently "traded" American jobs to India. It took a total of 6 weeks for me to get a refund for the product that never arrived, not to mention they made me look like a total jackass in that I looked like I forgot my friend's birthday. Real cute.

2. Had a Similar Experience

And I also couldn't stand those awful "customer service" form emails signed off by Rahpatel Gyhagga, etc. I strictly stick to barnes&noble.com now and have had no problems from them at all.
