I've found a great hotel for the Convention in NYC

Anyone here attending the Counter Convention in NYC August 27th-Sept 2nd?

I just booked a hotel room for me and some of my friends in Delaware so we can attend some of the Counter Convention activities. Personally, I think this will be our Chicago 1968 - something that will end up in the History Books. If you can make the convention - you should attend.

There are plenty of cheap hotels still available in NYC (you think Repukes would book anything less than 4 stars for a hotel). I found a suite down around Greenwich/Midtown area. If you are interested in details - please send me a PM. The suites are $129/night but they have regular rooms for less than $100 (and that rate was good for both weekends AND weekdays).

I wish I could go!

I think I might need to make a few arrangements.

As long as the hotel room is clean and there are no "Rats or Roaches" I will stay there.

PM us with the details, of course -- but I suspect a bunch of us may be coming there on MSchreader's bus/motor home. It's still early -- but WE WILL find a way to get there and we will squirrel away enough funds to survive (and, hopefully, thrive).
