Well, my fiance got a Christmas bonus check....
$700....

and and I should get about $3000.

I AM THANKFUL FOR MY JOB AND MY BENNIES.

And if I can help my fellow "man", I most certainly will.

Sometimes one must count their blessings.

Merry Christmas!

Please, no negative replies.....

2. Anybody got a "good" charity
to donate to?

I really want to help someone or some charity this year.

I have nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews that need things....I've lost my parents and my brother, so I must REPRESENT ( :-) ).....BUT

I would love to help a family here in AZ.

Any ideas?

there are a few groups (or maybe just one main one) trying to raise money for people who have been denied transplants b/c of Jan Brewer's decisions to strip costs from the budget --

PS - Congratulations!

10. Don't get me started on the transplants....
an assistant coach for my alma mater Seton Catholic (Chandler, AZ) girls' bball team has cystic fibrosis....20% lung capacity...

she was removed from the transplant list cause she's on Medicaid, as she cannot work and is disabled.

I wish death upon the old bitch Jan Brewer.

Don't our taxes pay state governor's salaries and their bennies....shouldn't we, as taxpayers, beconsulted on all and any procedures that our state employees undergo?????

3. I think that is very commendable
for you to give some of what you have. I find myself giving more this time of year also, and I give to several animal charities myself. I've been helping a friend in Australia help another friend who lost her house because of a fire a few weeks ago. Don't know anything in AZ, but I'm sure you don't have to look far. Lots of people needing help this time of year - anytime of year, really.

Again, thanks for thinking of others in your time of good fortune. :)

14. Aw, didn't want ya to cry!
Unless they're happy tears. Which is not an oxymoron, really. I cry sometimes when I'm really happy, or grateful, or just moved by something. Oh, I guess I'm just a sentimental fool. :) And there's nuthin wrong with that.

Really, it's good that you can help others, any time of year. You take care! I think you give to yourself when you give to others, but it's a gift that has to be felt instead of seen. I think that you get that.

18. I just checked out the website.
What a wonderful organization!

I grew up on an acre...with horses and a cow and irrigation and my best friend's family owned a dairy across the canal.

Thank you for the link!!!!!

Don't call me greedy for trying this. The lawyer and court costs will probably come out to about $4000.

But seriously, I'm getting a four figure bonus in February. I think I'll copy your example. Not everyone is as lucky as me.

19. Congrats - I've never gotten a Christmas/holiday bonus in my life
And I'm 44 years old. Not that I've done bad work, but I've worked for large corporations who don't give out holiday bonuses.
