Dazed and confused. He'll likely use the
shotgun from a blind (that is a QB draw in the red zone
or maybe a fake handoff and long pass, or maybe fake

8. That fearsome Auburn pass defense will just . . .
I dunno, melt in the Arizona heat? Oregon runs the ball so much because the Pac 10 pass defenses are so sophisticated, seeing as they do so many pro-style quarterbacks. Auburn's pass defense is ranked 109th in the nation. Now, that may be in part a function of Auburn clobbering so many opponents so early that offenses have to pass in an effort to catch up. But I have to think that Oregon, so run-oriented during the season, will somehow find a way to master the forward pass in the month leading up to the championship game.

This was a Stanford team that was up 21-3 at one point against Oregon. They were outscored 49-10 the rest of the way.
