OK, someone give me some insight, some education . . .
Why is Justin Bieber so hot among tweener girls?

Is it because they don't have anyone else to swoon over? Because they want to change him from a good boy to a bad boy? Or because he's "safe"?

This goes way beyond my generation's flirtation with Donnie Osmond.

What IS it?????

3. Why did girls in the 1960s cry and scream and faint when the Beatles took the stage?
I don't think it had a lot to do with the fact that the Beatles were, you know, talented.

10. I'm waiting 'til retirement.
Long white hair would be kind of off-putting in the office environment.

9. I once read a great paper on the Michael Jackson phenomenon on tweeners...
.
.
.
...that said it had to do a lot to do with "acting on" their growing sexuality
with a completely totally safe, non=-threatening object of desire. Seems
to fit here.
.
.
.
My question is why the late-teen/early-twenties young males I see would want
to adopt the haircut of someone who really seems to appeal mostly to tweeners?
.
.
.
Nowhere near the laughs I get from guys keeping their pants up by walking
bowlegged -- but laughs nonetheless.
