Rochester is famous for them. They are also supposed to be healthier than regular ones. And oh so yummy!

Hoffmann's hotdogs from Syracuse, these white hotdogs are German and they are absolutely delicious!

I think they are made from veal though, not sure about the mad cow potential...

they are Zweigle's in Rochester for like since the1800's. They are quite different from bratwurst if that's what you're thinking

I'm talking about white hotdogs and they have been part of Syracuse since the mid 1800s when Germans settled there.

I suppose you're going to argue that salt potatoes are from Rochester too... :-)

14. Mushroom Dogs (vegetarian substitute) are white
Not bad. Not as good as the real thing tho. Kind of silly to mess with mushrooms like that...I like mine big and steaky and sauteed on hard italian bread with a piece of mozzarella. mmmmmm

...were originally the normal color. They were left in the fridge for months (unopened, in their original packaging) by a slob of a roommate.
