One more piece of my world ruined!
ESPN (besides now having Flush Limpdick as a host of NFL Sunday) is holding one leg of the "ESPN Redfish Challenge" on my home waters of Charlotte Harbor. Why does this piss me off? Two of my fishing buddies (retired) were out fishing yesterday and had lucked into a pod of schooling reds. It wasn't two minutes later that a helicopter for hire was hovering over them low, marking the GPS coordinates of the pod! F'ing bastards ruined a once of year find for my friends! The professional fisherman actually hire these guys to do this! Did I miss something in my youth? Fishing was about the one-on-one challenge! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Thanks for letting me rant!

1. Tell your buddies to get the "N" number of the helicopter.
If they feel that the helicopter was too close or dangerously low, have them report the helicpter to the FAA. It could be a violation of FAR Part 91 - Dangerous and Wreckless Operations.

2. Thanks for the advice!
My guys were out in their kayaks and had just gotten out to wade toward the pod with their flyrods! A pastoral moment ruined!

3. Charlotte Harbor?
weren't they carrying guns? I do believe that it is acceptable to kill to protect a decent fishing spot.
