So I'm riding my bike on a wooded path one recent afternoon

Suddenly, a young man in his twenties jumps out from the trees and yells at me

"USA Freedom FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHTERS!"

He scares the crap out of me, but I manage not to crash

Another young man grabs him, pulls him back and apologizes to me.

I still have no idea what happened...:shrug:

It had me scratching my head the rest of the day! What a mystery, you know? Who was he? What was he trying to communicate? What kind of drugs was he on? I admit, it is very funny too.

Who had a few too many :smoke: or :beer: before hitting the woods. Having been to a few of these courses in my life time, I can tell you that once the adrenalin and testosterone hit, along with anything else on board, these folks will do some very bizarre things. Harmless, but bizarre.

16. What I find confusing about the scenario

Is the guardian/caretaker role the one friend of same age seemed to have over the young man who shouted.

He had a very serious expression on his face when he pulled the man back, and held him for a moment, almost tenderly, as he expressed his apology to me.

It was like a scene from a movie.
