5. The ASPCA commercials, especially the Sarah MacLAUGHLIN, are unbearable

I mean, the song is beautiful and she radiates love for the animals, but WHEW!1 SNL did a hilarious thing about it, with Seth MEYERS saying, "DON'T sing that song!1"

Saturday Night Live recently poked fun of Sarah McLachlan and the ASPCA commercials where her song “Angel” is the soundtrack behind some disturbing facts about animal cruelty.

“You agreed we weren’t going to talk about those creepy ASPCA commercials,” anchor Seth Meyers said.

The “Sarah” begins to sing Angel while pictures of dogs are shown in the background with facts like “this dog’s house is in foreclosure.”

It might be offensive, but hey, this clip is still giving the ASPCA publicity and that’s a great thing!

6. I can't watch that commercial!

It reminds me of the time I went to the SPCA looking for my lost dog -- & I ended up taking one home.

7. I can't watch it either.

I hit the remote instantly when it comes on. I've got rescue dogs, and to recover from that commercial I have to hug them for about ten minutes apiece.

9. Me, too! Wasn't there another one awhile back with REM's "Everybody Hurts"?

The song is so beautiful it grabs your attention immediately -- couldn't grab my remote fast enough when that one came on.
