Fess up! Who else is waiting for their call from Air America?
C'mon, they've got 24 hours of programming to fill...they could find somewhere to put the Hour of Plaidder...I'm cheap, I'm loud, and I've got a face made for radio!

They'd have to put me on tape-delay, though. I have a hard time talking about Bush for too long without swearing.

If AA called you, what would *you* pitch to them?

1. Didn't the "F-Bomb" slip through on Randy Rhodes yesterday?
At least on the stream, which technically probably isn't a FCC violation since that isn't broadcast.

6. Probably on stream, but on the radio station...
all I could hear was her reprimanding the guy saying they can't use the f word, for this reason and that reason, but the actual word didn't come through.

What they really need there is capacity. Has it even come up once since 11am yesterday?

While that's not my balliwick, once they do get the site responding again, they're going to need people getting content onto their pages. THAT'S something I can do for 'em.

Just send them this week's column and offer to read it on the air! I'm sure they'll give you a regular 10-15 minute slot for each new column... perhaps "brought to you by Democratic Underground"?

I'm waiting for a call from any network, any station. Even though I'm not progressive talk, my show would be fun to drop in somewhere on the weekends!

Here's your host, Johhny Chance, and his sidekick, The one and only Skinner! (insert Superintendent Chalmers SKINNER!!! sound clip)

It's be a laid back DU Lounge-esque type of show where we talk about things like sports, TV, Movies, Theatre, beer, food, etc as well as politics. Have guests, maybe Wil Wheaton, or other authors, actors, and artists. Make the show the offial radio home of Democraticundergorund.com's top 10 Conservative Idits list.

15. They could start be answering the damned phone
I called the moring show 5 times and it was never answered. They were discussing the employment numbers and I had some insight (via DU) that could have been helpful.

For me all they would have to do is turn on the mic and get out of the way.
