1. Where have you been? I started drinking on Friday night
I sobered up enough to go get some sandwiches, chips, (and more beer) Saturday evening, and I am poised here with an uncapped quart and a smile.

Who's playing anyway?

2. If you really plan to drink seriously for the Super Bowl, you start training
a year in advance. If you've waited until the day of the game to start practicing how to toss back brewskis, you're quite unlikely to get through a case and a half or two cases of beer without falling over backwards in a drunken stupor. Since I never even think about the Super Bowl except when there's some news story about who won, I don't even usually have beer in the house on the big game day, which is just as well, since I've always forgotten to practice my serious drinking. Forty years ago, I might have just dropped some acid and watched the TV without turning it on, but I eventually decided that was as boring as football

4. Remember when that dude pitched a no-hitter in the Super Bowl while tripping on acid?
I think his name was Bob Feller.

17. Mr. SG's drinking game for today is to take a drink of beer
every time Roethlisberger's name is mentioned.

He'll be passed out before the end of the first quarter.

16. I think you should enjoy some recreational combustibles
first. Might put drinking in another perspective.
