Daddy the Cat has a broken foot.

At least I think it's broken. Mrs. V., in her current state, even, is taking him to the vet today because I am at work and can't leave. God dammit!

Is that the same hind paw he dug a hole in you with on Sunday? Maybe he twisted it a and damaged it again at the broken place. (Except I thought we were all supposed to be stronger at the broken places...) All the best to you, Mrs. V, and Daddy.

I *have* to ask how you named him. I was always amused that Cesar what's-his-name, the Dog Whisperer, named his dog "Daddy." Now I see you have a cat named "Daddy," too!

No disrespect intended at all....but doesn't it feel...strange...to call him that? :rofl:

We took her in and she had kittens in our basement on 9/11/01. Three of the four kittens were tuxies. One of the two we kept turned out to have this amazing voice.

After a while, along came this adult tuxy. He didn't have exactly the same voice, but it seemed so odd that two cats would have special voices that we figured he must be those kittens' daddy. Hence the name.

Daddy actually has several names. Furry little bastard is the most commonly used. He's also called Sh'thay (actually spelled "shithead" -- it's from Lewis Black), furry little asshole, god dammit Daddy, furry little prick . . . you get the idea. Every now and then he gets "Damn you, Daddy sir!" (from Martin Short)

He's an asshole, but we love him.
