What's for dinner?
We're having breaded baked chicken thighs, au gratin potatoes, and green beans.

:hi:

3. Fried catfish
And hush puppies. My hush puppies didn't turn out as well as I hoped. That's what I get for being a yank trying to go soul food.

5. Drunken noodles.
At least that's what my hub tells me, and he's sober. I think. Spent the afternoon at Uwajimaya, the local Asian supermarket and I'm betting we eat Asian food for a week (yum).

11. I had a personal-sized pesto pizza with banana peppers;
husband had a turkey sandwich with salad... local Italian place was packed tonight. They have good pesto, and cook the pizza 'til it's super-crisp, just the way I like it. :)

12. giant spinach salad
with boiled eggs, bacon ends, red peppers and cucumbers, and dressing from balsamic vinegar and homemade mayo.

24 oz bags of fresh spinach were on sale for 2 bucks. I don't know if you all know how much spinach that is. We both had big salads for dinner and did not make a dent in the bag.

13. homemade macaroni and cheese...
...big crunchy green salad with homemade buttermilk ranch, and raspberry pie.

FYI for anyone who has to limit carbs: Dreamfields pasta varieties are very okay. Extremely low in net carbs.

14. Love Dreamsfields Pasta
We get our spaghetti and mac and cheese fix this way because we are diabetics and our sugar numbers remain low.
