3. I don't know what the HCG diet is...
but if you want to eat your computer screen it must be tough! I don't believe in diets, unless they're medically needed--morbidly overweight..I think that's what its called. Otherwise, just cut back, move a little more...

Hugs for you! I hope it gets easier..

4. HCG, Pregnancy Hormone
Isn't this the hormone found in pregnant women?

6. yes
It also is an appetite suppresant and triggers fat burning. I'm using drops which are homeopathic but whether it is the restricted diet and/or the drops- I'm losing weight-which does bring one through emotional reasons for eating. BTW the hcg is used for 23 days and then stops as a new set point has been attained.

My story is here:

http://yourhcgcoach.com/about.html

My before and after is here:

my weightloss chart is here:

I have maintained a healthy weight now for almost a year and a half. First week of the first round I wanted to chew my arm off. After that, and every round thereafter, I had *no* hunger.

7. Yes and yes!
Dit it, lost 21 lbs. and have kept it off even now, after eating normally (and abnormally over the holidays--burrrrp). Major --so much so I'm gonna do it again in a few weeks.

But yeah, it can be tough, the first week especially. How long have you been doing it?

12. Now 5 days
and its gotten better

I have lost a lot of weight, has to be mostly water though, but it keeps peeling off daily.

The food seems more adequate now than it did.

The HCG drops seem to help curb hunger.

I have incredible energy now that I didn't have when I started this thread.

Thanks!

15. Oh dude that explains it
The first week is HELL. x(

But yeah, it gets so much easier after that! One thing that kept me going--the realization that 3 1/2 oz. of cauliflower means three small florets, but 3 1/2 oz. of salad greens is a HUGE plateful. A 3 1/2 oz. serving of zucchini ain't half bad either.

Good on you! You will be so happy with the results. What I really liked was that even after I finished the diet, my appetite stayed small; even when it increased, it was nowhere near what it had been before I did the diet, so I eat way less than I used to. And that's never a bad thing. :P

8. Not me, but a friend
When she had hunger at first, her doctor had her up the dose for a short time. You may want to ask you doctor about that. She is having great succes with it.
