11. Are you sure about this? Photosynthesis has some role to play.
On the molecular level perhaps we are recycling carbon dioxide to regain oxygen. In "air" there's roughly 20% oxygen for us to inhale. In exhaled air, about 15% oxygen. So that is in the recycled pool. The exhaled CO2 is used by plants with O2 being released. So this is not as bad as it may seem.

That said, it would be nice if people would brush more and eat less garlic.
