14. Aww. Thank you!! Nooooo.....

Facebook weirded me out. Especially when a stalker from DU was sent as a "suggestion" ... when I saw that pic I immediately deleted it all. It was too invasive for me, too. It's weird... as much as I am an open book there are just a few things I want to keep private. Too many different worlds collided. I couldn't even post a pic of a Kingfisher beer bottle without someone at work making a crack like, "Did you have too many Kingfishers last night?" It was such a huge relief to delete that FB account. It was as if I shooed away 100 prying eyes. Does that make sense.

16. I do understand...

I fixed my privacy settings so only my friends can see my posts, pictures and so on.

I feel quite comfortable there, now, as a result.

There are MANY DUers there.

I like it because it gives me a cross-section between my poetry friends, my DU friends and my daughters.

Anyway, I mentioned it because I've posted some poetry over there...

And unlike here, it's had some insightful comments.

18. There are some things you have to understand about people who make...

nasty remarks about your poetry. First of all, some of them have to struggle a little bit more (and much longer) to get published. Second, they may have mother issues! ;-) I better stop there. Of course, you know me, I could add quite a bit more. But I'll keep it generalized. :hug:

17. Yep. It is kind of early.

However, I'm generally an early riser. 6am on is more to my liking than this, but I'd rather have insomnia on the back end then the front. Last week it was both! grr! :hangover:

Although like you, I save them for emergencies. I don't want to build up a tolerance so that they work really well when I resort to them. Best of luck w/that and your headache (just read upthread) Whatta bummer!
