Poll question: The Loungies - Best Actor (Leading Role)
As with the Best Picture poll - vote for who you'd like to see win -- not who you think will get the Oscar. Feel free to post alternative picks.

2. It's a combo of great performance and lifetime achievement award for Firth
The only other possible winner would be Eisenberg

3. I think Firth will win, but James Franco was amazing in 127 Hours
if you haven't seen that film yet, I highly recommend it. I think it's out on DVD Tuesday.

4. it will be sheer robbery if it's not Colin Firth
having seen all these films, I can say all the performances are great and Oscar-worthy but Colins's role was nothing short of AMAZING

5. A Brilliant portrayal of an utterly boring character
As wonderful as Colin Firth's acting, it's hard to get around the fact that he's portraying a completely boring stuffed shirt with a speech impediment. Firth made George more interesting than he deserves. Geoffrey Rush is the one who really deserves best actor not supporting actor.

He's just a flat out brilliant actor.
