I've seen all kinds of bands, and I have to say that show had the scummiest looking crowd I've ever seen. (IIRC it beat out the crowd at a show I went to that was put on by a local Hell's Angels chapter.)

in various bands in teh Philly area for some years.
I play guitar, bass and some harmonica, and still sing, although a bit differently after 21 years of not smoking and losing a lot of teeth.

How did you not know that? I don't know how you didn't know!

36. The follow up was a modest hit in Chicago; maybe not in the east though
I liked that there was more regionalism on the charts back then. Pushin' may have very well been the only hit where you were. Can't Seem to Make You Mine , it seems to me, made it to maybe number 20 something in Chi....In fact, I remember variation even from city to nearby city. I was having a facebook conversation about the Hollies yesterday; specifically about Carrie Anne, and I remembered (maybe and maybe not accurately) that while it got to about number 8 or 9 in Chicago, it was number one on WOKY in Milwaukee ,which we listened to in the cabin at music camp in East Troy, Wisconsin that summer. (Unrelated, but if East Troy rings a bell, it was where Stevie Ray Vaughan played his last blues).

Probably was his only big one. Good tune :)

I watched a documentary recently with Jimmy Page. Watching him almost foam at the mouth listening to this tune said quite a bit to me.

I can only imagine what Jimmy Page has in his collection:)
