President Barack Obama had to try a couple of doors at the White House before finally gaining access to the Oval Office on Wednesday.

1. If the building won't let you in to work, it's a day off

We have restricted access to our floor until 8 am (you have to use a key card in the elevator before 8), and my theory has always been if you can't get to work because the building won't let you in, it's an excused absence.

Him (on cell phone to DC Police): Uh, hi. This is Mr. Obama at 1600 PA Ave. I seem to be locked out of my house.
Dispatcher: I'm sorry sir, we don't unlock houses anymore. Litigation issues you know.
Him: Well what do I do?
Dispatcher: You might want to check the windows.

Him, hanging up: Sasha, that window upstairs looks like it's a little open. We'll boost you up then you climb through it and come down and unlock the door.
Sasha: But daddy, what if I fall.
Him (concerned father): You're right. Michelle please build a pyramid with the girls and I'll climb up.

Secret Service: FREEZE!!!!!
