How delightfully cheesy and retro! (A catchy tune, too.)

I would’ve never known about this song except I had a boyfriend who was from a country formerly part of the British Empire, and I remember him singing it.

Cliff Richard was very big in the UK in the late ‘50’s-early ‘60’s, and on the other side of the pond, we had never heard of him. I never heard any of his music until the ‘80’s—“Devil Woman” and “We Don’t Talk Any More.”

Til there was Youtube. :-) I really like some of his earlier stuff.
