Best song that's against taking drugs?

For me, the best song I know of that's anti-doing drugs is the Beatles' "A Day In The Life."

Think about it.

The coolest anti drug song ever.

How so?

A guy who has such a boring, humdrum life, he only notices the most trivial things, and can only "escape" by getting high.

And that last long note, sounds like death.

The best argument for NOT taking psychedelics I can find: drop acid and be like Syd!

Also, listen to any Grateful Dead bootleg from 1986 to 95 and listen hard to Jerry's voice. There is a lot of pain involved in listening. But I'd consider his condition a fair warning.

This was promoted as an anti-drug anthem in the 1960s, although it was nothing of the sort -- it's about the crazy feeling you get when you fall in love.

Neil Young wrote it early in his career, and it's on the first Buffalo Springfield album. I suspect that Mr. Young has had a good laugh over that at some time in the past 40 years.
