Come down off your throne and leave your body alone. Somebody must change. You are the reason I've been waiting so long. Somebody holds the key. But I'm near the end and I just ain't got the time And I'm wasted and I can't find my way home. Come down on your own and leave your body alone. Somebody must change. You are the reason I've been waiting all these years. Somebody holds the key. But I'm near the end and I just ain't got the time And I'm wasted and I can't find my way home...

1. but, you wrote this book!
and you have more to say, so, kick yourself in the buttocks and end up in a friendly place! That will be home for the night.

5. I think he's showing his Blind Faith
and possibly demonstrating the Presence of the Lord, perhaps in a Sea of Joy. Well All Right! :)

4. I love mimicking Winwood's falsetto
I'm a terrible singer, but for some reason I can sing "Wasted" almost perfectly and in tune. It's also a fun song to play on guitar.

6. Have you heard Joe Cocker's cover ?
If not, give it a listen - chilling. Both versions are on my hard drive...used to listen to the Blind Faith naked girl - OMG - album virtually every night while zombied on opium, stumbling my way through college, 1969.
