1. Well, I don't think I could possibly be more envious.
I dream about going there with my guy, lolling around the Riviera, drinking champagne, enjoying fine cuisine, etc. Have a great time!

2. Thanks!
We're starting in Toulouse and heading across the south near the Spanish border. Going to visit small towns and Cathar castles. Won't make it as far as the Riviera. Our daughter has the whole trip planned out.

5. Been to France several times.
But in times past, we were constantly on the go and had to see everything. This time we're doing it at a leisurely pace. Going more to experience the French lifestyle while taking in some sights. Will do some hiking, picnicking, and hanging out at sidewalk cafes, just doing what the French do so well!

18. I lived in Germany for four years in the 70's. The ONLY fast food when I got there...
.
.
.
...was ONE Pizza Hut and ONE KFC somewhere in the country. Before I left, McDonalds
invaded -- when the one opened in Nurnberg, there was a block-or-two-long line around
the block for WEEKS.
.
.
.
Germany (as much of Europe) is a pretty sexually healthy culture compared to ours, so
none of us soldiers were lacking in "physical" experiences. One night, one late night...
someone admitted that they no longer had traditional erotic dreams, but dreams about
that in which they could no longer partake -- fast food.
.
.
.
One-by-one, we ALL admitted sheepishly that we had had regular, well... if not exactly
erotic, the next damn type of dreams about fast food.
.
.
.
Mine were about Whoppers.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
All you Freudians... BRING IT.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
A little Burger King beefcake for ya.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Hold the pickle.
