Poll question: Have you ever killed?
Have you ever killed a human being, whether accidentally, in combat, in the course of your police work, or in any other circumstance?

32. Thank you for your openness
And for your service! I would lay my life down for my country or to save another human, but I have determined that I would have a hell of a time pulling a trigger, even in combat.

Keep your soul in peace, you were young and did what you had to. If dying for your country is the supreme sacrifice, killing for it must be second. It could have been any of us almost 50 somethings in your shoes. Don't blame yourself, you did what you had to at the time.

if I would stir up bad memories, but I decided chances are, most wouldn't be able to forget such a thing anyway.

12. Entomological excesses
Reminds me of the Alabama politican who railed against his opponent, who he called a "heterosexual and a thespian." No one knew exactly what that meant, but it sounded real bad.

I usually allow others to do it for me. But it is all for a good cause, I swear!

25. I guess you didn't understand the poll.
I didn't ask if you were a taxpayer, or if your actions enabled others to kill, or if you felt guilty about things that others did in your name.

27. In war we must kill
"But with or without God, I think it is a sin to kill. To take the life of another is to me very grave. I will do it when necessary but I am not of the race of Pablo." - Ernest Hemingway - For Whom the Bell Tolls

I told my stepdad my next step was killing him. Me and my family never saw him since though he has written my mom letters. She tells him I'm still here. He knows to stay away.

They'd only sit once for me and my twwo brothers. Most of them were never to be heard from again. Makes one wonder, eh?
