Those things that you just know are going to go wrong so you have simply resigned yourself to it...

I have two. Bar codes, when I get to the checkout, there will be at least one item that will not scan correctly. It is absolutely guaranteed. The other is a little weirder; without exception every vehicle I have ever owned has had multiple and repeated failures of the sound system. From the tinny little factory AM radio in my very first car to the 10-speaker simulated concert arena in my last van, they have all have needed a lot of, and in many cases, expensive work. The only exception is my current vehicle and that's only because it is still under warranty.
