Wanda got her forever home last night

Wanda is about 5 or 6 years old in that time she has had several homes. First she belonged to some ass hat who abandoned her outside of an ASPCA. A nice lady found her and took her in for a few years but had to give her up recently because her landlord found out she had to many cats, 17... She took her to my mom's. Mom and her friends try there best to take care of the neighborhood cats and find homes for any they can.

A few weeks before Wanda came to my mom's place we lost our beloved Sam. Mom gave us a call and said she had just gotten the sweetest little cat. I said we were not ready but passed on the info to my partner. I told her that mom had found a girl named Wanda, dramatic pause... "Wanda? her name is Wanda?" ya... "That name popped into my head the other day I have not thought about it or run into it for years..." Needless to say this was enough of a "sign" so I called mom back. We wanted to give our other two cats a little time to adjust to the loss of Sam, but last night Wanda came home.



Forever.

Poor baby, getting ditched, and passed around! But now she's got a real home.. you can see from her pictures she deserves it :loveya:

What a beautiful kitty -- congratulations. :) Sorry about the loss of Sam if I missed that announcement -- but what a loving tribute to welcome another cat to your home.

She reminds me of "someone" I very much love.
