Wow. Game of Thrones was quite good tonight.
But it is not for the squeamish or the easily offended.

1. I'm enjoying this show tremendously
I just am not following it all very well. I know that pretty soon I'm going to have to start all over from the beginning and watch them all in one long stretch to really figure out what's going on.

But it is very well done.

4. Missed it on HBO, will have to watch it on demand on Tuesday night...
I like how faithful the series is staying to the books so far. Good stuff.

6. Love Tyrion. Love Catelyn. I keep chuckling over the changes in peoples' ages.
They sort of squeezed them, so it's funny to see the Kingslayer and imagine him seventeen years ago, which doesn't quite add up. Or John Snow as fourteen. But hey, imo it's more believable the way they show it.

I'm only midway into Book Two as reading goes so I'm trying to stay ahead. It's my impression that things are about to get really, really strange.

11. The older ages work better, IMO.

13. Oh I completely agree. Not sure what Martin was thinking.
Or maybe I don't want to know...

7. I was sad that we didn't get to see anything with the Dothraki last episode
The Dothraki are definitely my favorite part of the story.

9. I felt exactly the same way, but there was a lot of Stark/Lannister stuff to cover
in this episode, because there are some pretty intense changes coming up. I especially love the changes Daeneris goes through.

:hi:

8. I actually gasped and shut my eyes.
I am so into this show, although I must confess that I can't always keep track of who's who and who's doing what to who.

10. Yep, watched it with our older teens...
now try to do that with a straight face next time, haha!

The horse's death and Jory's demise really got me, I am ashamed to admit the gore is difficult to turn away from. Can't wait until next week.

As I told my daughter (the son has already read the four books), "It's all down hill from here, sweetie."

12. There were parts I LOVED
but this was the first episode that I was... not so sure about.

I envisioned the Eyrie as being very different, and I'm not sure what to think about "outing" the gay couple.
