I miss my wife.

I am married to a Filipina and she recently went back home to visit relatives. I miss her. For one thing, I have a tendency to revert back to my evil ways of going out drinking and eating hamburgers and pizza all the time. For another, I just enjoy her company.

1. I understand.

Back when I was married, my wife would take a week or two in Ontario to visit relatives and friends, leaving me behind to, you know, go to a job without paid vacations. One summer she took three weeks away, and that was just too much, for both of us, and she never went that long again.

It's tough. You gotta wonder how the families of soldiers deal with it...

2. Oh hell, when I'm gone Kevsand does all the stuff he can't/won't when I'm home.

He says he gets tired of being right all the time when I am gone. I think he actually gets tired of watching Godzilla and Mothra movies while eating take out pizza that would choke a buzzard. I suspect he scratches inappropriately too...
