My co-workers are a bunch of worthless slugs.

I swear if I poured salt on most of them, they would melt. All day long today it was Just vulgar talk about sex and certain bodily functions I am sure I don't have to name. I've seen better manners in barnyards, and heard better grammar at a Larry the Cable Guy concert. In fact, Larry the Cable Guy is downright debonair compared to some of them. Thank God I'm moving this summer. :banghead:

The worst are the sales holes and marketeers - waste of air at best.

I work for a temp agency doing packaging for a company that manufactures CDs, DVDs, and Blu-rays. True, it isn't exactly rocket science; but does that really exempt these people from acting halfway civilized?

Just a hunch but I don't think the Lounge is a place to get sympathy on this.

Today was just especially bad.

...and I say "might" because I can't speak for anyone else here, just myself...but it "might" be because 99% of the people reading this have had the misfortune of working with some variant of the same worthless slugs you describe.

That's right, on June 1, 2001, I walked out the back door of Cisco Systems, after having turned in my laptop computer and security badge and completed my exit interview, and walked into a life that would be designed by me, for me, period.

It came with a high cost...higher than I'm willing to explain here...but for a decade, I haven't been a part of that "society," of the cube dwellers and cutthroats and apple-polishers and tattle-tales.
