He was center of my favorite episode of Superman The Animated Series. Paul and I both laughed hard on that episode.

Mxyzpixilated was the name of the episode.

Superman killed him using the Phantom Zone Projector. He was responsible for the deaths of Jimmy Olson and Lana Lang as well as Lex Luthor and Brainiac. One of the most powerful foes supes ever faced. I believe his final appearance was in "Whatever Happened to the Man of Steel", written by Alan Moore.
