Did they skip school when the horrors of the 3rd Reich and its tactic of retaliating against civilians was covered? Or did they just all go to one of those excellent private schools where it wasn't covered?

Yes, the Iraqis in Fallujah did horrible things. I'm a liberal and I'm upset about it. But, if another country decided to invade us and "liberate" us from Bush, how would the Freepers react? I would hope they wouldn't be burning people, but I'm sure they'd all grab their guns and let the "liberators" know that they resent being occupied. The Sunnis don't have much reason to be happy about us being there; THEY were the Iraqis who gained power under Saddam.

And all those "highly intellectual" Freepers go into knee-jerk mode and are ready to launch some nukes.

It blows my mind how incredibly cruel and inhumane those freepers can be ...

Because those outside this forum and those like it have been brainwashed into believing that this war "was based on the big WMD lie" and the people who keep spreading that rhetoric are the true haters in this country.

Those people can care less about these horrendous acts. To them, they have a twisted way of thinking that somehow these Americans "deserved" it in some way.

Let me show you some of the crap i have seen posted by liberals in chatrooms and other places online:

"These mercenaries were in it for the money, i have no sympathy for them" (in reference to those murdered in Falluja).

"The worst day for America in the year 2001 was when Bush took over the White House".

"Over 500 soldiers killed in Iraq!! See? I was right! I told you so!"

"Hopefully he is in a lot of pain right now. I do hope he dies as I believe he is bad for this country" (About Ashcroft when he was hospitalized last month).

These and many more... and this warped way of thinking is being spread across America by the likes of Gore, Al Franken, and several other celebrities on the left.

Conservatives are horrible things that only seem to hear the words they want.
Has anyone heard people saying that they hoped Ashcroft would die? Anyone bragging about how they predicted that we would lose people in Iraq? Anyone cheering the fact that the contractors died? There may be a couple comments like that but they're in the minority. this creep makes it sound like that's all we talk about.
I do have to admit, that while I deplore what happened in Falujah, I am not at all surprised by it. Not because they were mercenaries, but because we are invaders, plain and simple. Idiot boy thinks that people are supposed to fight for their country; what do you think the Iraqis are doing anyway? He'd happily do the same thing if the situation were reversed and the US were invaded-he'd torture and hang anyone he could, and brag about it afterward. Guess "patriotism" is only valid if you're an American. Guess as an American, doing whatever you want can be considered "patriotism" so long as you wrap a flag around it.

Yeah in the L.A. Times today somebody wrote we should "bomb the town into a parking lot." AND WHAT THE HELL GOOD WOULD THAT DO?

When they take this route they effetively kill the last phony excuse they had for this invasion: liberating the poor Iraqis. I guess when you advocate "leveling" a town "men, women, children whatever" because they "aren't worth it" then there goes THAT...
