Is there a song that you're embarrassed that you like?
As a 47 year old man I'm chagrined to admit that I like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SiBMvKQl3rw by Selena Gomez.

An obscure song from 1989 that was on the radio for about 10 days then vanished

33. I'll never admit it, so stop saying that!

I did, however, actually listen to it all the way through the other day. Usually as soon as it comes on I hit the station button! The meds seem to be working.

35. Never be embarrassed for liking Sweet. Sing "Little Willy" outloud and strong!
North side, east side
Little Willy, Willy wears the crown, he's the king around town

Dancing, glancing
Willy drives them silly with his star shoe shimmy shuffle down

Way past one, and feeling alright
'Cause with little Willy round they can last all night

Hey down, stay down, stay down down

'Cause little Willy, Willy won't go home
But you can't push Willy round
Willy won't go,

try tellin' everybody but, oh no
Little Willy, Willy won't
go home

Desolation Boulevard is a killer album, one of my all time favs, and Fox on the Run is a great song, not to mention the theme song of my high school years. :):):)

tastes differ. I like lots of stuff other people don't like, and other people like stuff I don't like. No judgement necessary.

The Celine Deionne song. Mainly because my daughter's were around 10 and seven when the movie came out and they just loved the movie. They're all grown up now. Enjoy them while you can!

20. ABBA's "Dancing Queen"
The bass guitar part, the subtle key modulations in the chorus and post-chorus transition, the cascading piano part, and the production are pure pop perfection, even if it is (1) ABBA and (2) disco, at least kinda.

I adore that tune. :hide:

I know it is stereotypical, but at 8 or 9 years old ABBA was my favorite.

Also, mildly embarrassed by my love of 70's singer-songwriter stuff - particularly Elton John & Cat Stevens. (But mostly Elton)

37. Don't Keep Me Waiting, Britney Spears.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jkhcusvMt9Q&feature=related

Actually, I downloaded the whole album. haha. The music is great to work out to, but the autotune and cooing baby talk 'sexiness' ruin it. The song I posted has the least amount of that and I admit, I love it. She hits a note in "wait-ten" that I like and the drums and guitar- the whole song is really good.

I also like 'He About to Lose Me'. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BUUEHZ_Qg8w&feature=related
