Watching KC and Toronto and wondered...

no, I didn't wonder about how KC can actually call itself a professional baseball team.

What I was thinking about was why didn't MLB baseball spread further west in Canada? I know Vancouver has minor league but why not major? Any Canadians on the boards that can tell me if it's enjoyed on your West Coast?

And why, for that matter, don't you see MLB further south into Mexico? I've thought about that before and wondered if it would prove successful there. Any thoughts?
