We were discussing this yesterday at a neighbor's garage sale - unless you're wearing closed shoes all the time, time is gonna getcha.

I've never worn Birkenstocks or Tevas, but mostly go barefoot, with flip-flops for public appearances, and I no longer fit any of my closed shoes.
