Happy birthday, Judy. Would have been 89 today.
Thought it is worth mentioning.

Not a bad talent, I would say. Legend has it this one was done in one take.

She never lost it. Even in a duet with young untried talent.

I'm glad she passed our way.

2. Go Wings! Pure Michigan.
Transplanted to DC now, but my heart is back home. Screw Snyder - I'm retiring back there in a very few years anyway.

Check this one out: http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1020915213562.2004383.1545650365#!/video/video.php?v=2076026344361

Only one place in the world smells like fudge and horse poop. And I love it.

3. I know. I'm in Seattle

4. Hey, wasn't Judy born in Michigan?
She's got some connection, I believe.

6. No, Grand Rapids - but Minnesota.
I think that's what you're thinking of.

8. Hmmm. I know it was Grand Rapids, MN, but I still think there's a connection.
Maybe it was her mom, or maybe she went there when she was young.

7. I think she was a genius.
I still watch her movies with my jaw on the floor.
How did this child (and she was a child when she started) know just exactly how to sing a song? And she could act, too.
Wonderful wonderful talent.
