Any DUers affected by the Missouri River floods?
I'm pretty close to the river, about 8 blocks away. I'm in Council Bluffs Iowa, which is across the river from Omaha. We received evacuation plans today (3 alert levels). Up until today I didn't think it would affect my house. I still think the chances are better than 50/50 that my house is safe.

Right now it is raining like a sumbitch, so it got me thinking again. The evacuation plan said I can take one packed bag and 2 pets if evacuated. I have 3 pets, and there is ZERO chance I'd leave one behind. If I left on my own I'd have relatives to stay with in Omaha, but they would not agree to include the pets. What the hell would I do with them?

I'm curious to hear from other DUers in the flood zone.

3. No, further downstream.
Near Parkville, Waverly, Glasgow, and Booneville-places that they never talk about on the news. All are places ready for flooding since they've been through it before.
