Someone please tell me the appeal of Gene Simmons

Ugh!

I watched Gene Simmons Family Jewels last night. I guess I wanted to see what happened after viewing that TODAY show segment.

First, Shannon Tweed still looks beautiful and she's 54 years old. She looks to have had a few minor tweeks but nothing to take away too much from her beautiful face.

But Gene Simmons just looks like he feel out of the tallest ugly tree in the forest hitting every branch on the way down. And women find him sexy?

Yuck! I don't get it.

He sure isn't handsome, he is mediocrity incarnate as a musician; the man seems like an utterly self-centered jackass of a human being from everything I have seen about him. But he is an expert at merchandising and has made a hell of a lot of money relieving suckers of their hard earned cash. Personally I have hated KISS for more than 35 years, so I am probably not the best person to speculate on this curious phenomenon.

He has made a very good living behind the mask.

His children appear to love him and his partner
has been with him for 24 years.

It is entirely possible that his public persona
is just that, for consumption by the public.

Personally, I think his public persona stinks.

I don't like KISS and I never did.

His public persona does NOT impress.

He has made a good living out of appearing like a
complete asshole.

4. After watching a couple of recent clips of the two of them...

I believe that they are playing for ratings.

The next season will probably end up with them
getting married for the cameras....

but, honestly...

that first morning on Hoda and Kathie Lee ...

it was bizarre and shannon really did act pissed.

Kathie and Hoda were agape.

I have never thought so much about these two in my life so, it is working if that is the intent.
