Got my disabled parking permit today ...
At age 26, no less. It's finally settling in, I guess, that my chronic pain issues are not going to be fixed. Acceptance is both a difficult and good thing.

I think I need a hug. :(

2. I got mine last year when I was 51
I rarely use it and only when my legs, especially my left one, are very swelled up and I'm limping and gasping.

3. I can't drive myself due to my condition, but ...
... I do still have to go places sometimes. Walking too far can flare my pain up, so while this is kind of a sad moment, the permit will be a beneficial thing. It'll make things easier on my poor mom, too, considering she has to take me to wherever I'm going.

I am working on the second person I know who was given "It is NOT humanly possible" verdict. By saying "NOT humanly" I had all the info I needed. And I have survived! If the next experiment goes well I will come back with the results...
