that sucks! but i can understand - not wanting to drag it out but the show is still going so strong. hopefully someone at AMC can talk him into doing 7 like Buffy and The Shield did.

3. Me too!
Carnivale had a great 6 year plan - check it out on their wikipedia page where much of it is laid out since there is evidently never going to be anymore Carnivale. Sniff.. or Deadwood. Least Breaking Bad will get to go out on its own terms.

2. Breaking Bad is so good, but I'm glad to see it have a clear beginning, middle, and end.

6. Trying to avoid spoilers in summary...

It's about a HS chemistry teacher named Walter White who is diagnosed with terminal cancer and doesn't want to burden his family (a wife he's rocky with but loves, his 16 year old son with CP and a baby on the way) or leave them with debt so he becomes a meth manufacturer with a fuck-up of a former student of his in order to build up some money to leave to them and to cover his treatment.

Things go horribly from the get-go and Walter finds himself slipping down the rabbit-hole into things he never wanted to or thought he'd do. Bad bad things being done by a nominally-nice person. The title is apt descriptive...Walter is actually breaking badly...from a mild-mannered nice guy into a monster. The expression "The road to hell is paved with good intentions."; it applies here.

Edit: things are not helped by the fact Walt's arguably the best, most-talented meth manufacturer in history. Walt's brother-in-law is a DEA agent who is, unbeknownst to him, on the trail of Walt. He describes Walt's product as the purest he's ever seen.
