Both my sons are adopted Duke fans (only God could have an explanation, it is not like I never tried to teach them anything)...But I am rather enjoying the day. LOL

But you're missing a good hate by not following the Dook women. They are every bit as arrogant and abrasive as their male counterparts, and their coach, Gail Goestenkors (sp?) has that same "Everyone is against us, my girls NEVER commit fouls", pickle-puss demeanor that Kryszewski has perfected.

Watching a Doook game is one of the most aggrevating things I ever do. Until recently you almost never saw replays during their games. I pointed this out to my wife and she was amazed that not only was I right :thumbsup: but that you never see what happened.

It is funny when Duke plays outside of the ACC or on a neutral court. We ACC fans have become accustomed to it and have succumbed I guess but when they play in say Boise the boo birds (real fans) come out in droves when they see the tremendous number of mystery calls the Doooookies get.

When asked about the calls in a Duke-UVa game a few years ago 'Hoos coach Pete Gillens famous quote (in his heavy NYC accent)"Duke is Duke"-in other words that is just how it is you have to beat them and the officials by at least 10 points to have a chance.
