What is with all of the chee-to hate?

Personally, I love me some chee-toes. I could do without my fingers turning all orange, but those crispy, yellow-orangish crisps that are vaguely cheese flavored (ok, not really, but i'll suspend my disbelief) morsels of goodness don't deserve the hate they receive. Maybe we could start claiming that freepers eat pork rinds or chili-cheese fritos while living in their momma's basement and leave Chester the Cheetah alone.

8. While we don't buy much junk-food,

we are not on food stamps. We have a pretty tight budget, but I am proud to say that even with 4yo twin boys we are officially "in the black". Our lawn mower needs fixing, my car needs some repairs, our yard needs some finishing, and wifey and I could use some new clothes... but we are slowly working towards not owing anybody anything! :)

3. Cheetos are vastly superior to a lot of other junk food. Although I'm too good to eat them.

Besides I don't have any and I really, really hate you now because I have no junk food in the house and now I'm going to have to STFU.

6. I have a stale old bag of chee-toes in my pantry.

I don't really eat chips anymore, but occasionally they really compliment sandwiches... and I love me some sandwiches. IMHO, nothing beats a good pickle (kosher if possible (I'm not Jewish, but damn if there aren't some good kosher pickles out there)) as a side for a sandwich. The exception being peanut butter and jelly... PBJ and chee-toes is maybe my second favorite lunch ever. My fave is the friday special tomato-basil soup from the Carmel Cookie Waffle Factory in Billings, MT. /drool

7. If anyone doubts the power of the friday special soup,

I plan my trips to Billings (I go two or maybe three times a year) so that I am there on Fridays so I can get a cup of the CCWF tomato-basil soup.

No joke... it's that good.

Damn, now I really want some of that soup.

10. I like the original crunchy ones.

Occasionally my mother-in-law gets the spiral shaped puffy ones for my kids. I have to watch myself around those... there aren't that many in the bag, and once I get started it's tough to quit. While it's not that big of a deal, if the bag goes empty before a 4 year old's lunch time there is some serious hell to pay. It's better for me to be on the safe side and stick to pickles and carrots.
